How is Optima Maths Taught?

Optima Maths was originally conceived as a whole-class intervention where tasks and activities were differentiated to meet the needs of a diverse range of pupils with differing attainments. Optima Maths can still be implemented on a whole class basis but can now also now be taught to groups or individual pupils. All the resources, materials and instructions that teachers need are available online and so can be introduced to schools quickly, efficiently and consistently within and across year groups.
